Frequently asked questions
What makes the Vispring Opulence Mattress different from other luxury mattresses?
The Opulence combines a three-layer hand-nested pocket spring system with natural fillings like cashmere, alpaca, bamboo and mulberry silk, plus Moosburger horsetail for resilience, all in a thermally regulated, moisture-wicking sleep surface.
How do I set up the Opulence on a divan or bed frame for best comfort?
Place the mattress on a supportive divan with a solid timber frame to ensure edge-to-edge support, then use it with standard bedding to allow the natural fillings to breathe and conform as you move.
Which materials in the Opulence affect daily use and comfort?
Natural fillings—cashmere, alpaca, bamboo, mulberry silk, and Shetland wool—provide plush loft, shoulder and hip conformity, and moisture-wicking, thermally regulated comfort for a balanced sleep surface.
What should I know about the mattress’s construction and how it supports the body?
Its three-layer hand-nested calico pocket springs with 3,366 springs (King size) deliver contouring support and minimal motion transfer, reinforced edge stitching, and hand-tufted stabilisation for durable upholstery.
How does the Opulence address temperature and humidity during sleep?
Near the ticking, moisture-wicking mulberry silk and bamboo draw heat and humidity away, helping keep the surface breathable throughout the night.
The Opulence mattress in the Luxe Collection is crafted to layer four distinct natural fibres—cashmere, alpaca, bamboo, and mulberry silk—across a triple-nested spring architecture, delivering a sleep surface that feels softly cushioned yet thermally precise. Its design balances plush loft with responsive support, ensuring contouring comfort across the body while maintaining breathable temperature regulation throughout the night.
The sleep surface is constructed from a sequence of fillings arranged from the outside in, with moisture-wicking mulberry silk and bamboo near the ticking to draw heat and humidity away. Inside, cashmere and alpaca add compressible loft for shoulder and hip conformity, while Moosburger® horsetail provides springback and resilience. The three-layer hand-nested pocket spring system, reinforced edge stitching, and hand-tufted wool and twine ensure stable support, minimal motion transfer, and durable upholstery that maintains fill distribution over time.
